About Lekshey
Hello! My name is Lekshey. I spent over 20 years as a Buddhist monk, receiving a traditional monastic education in Buddhist philosophy, logic, and Tibetan language.
For 16 years, I worked as a Tibetan language tutor at Kathmandu University before becoming a freelance teacher. My passion lies in debate, grammar, and logical reasoning—core elements of Tibetan scholastic tradition.
If you’re a complete beginner, I will guide you through the fundamentals of reading, writing, and speaking Tibetan. If you already have some knowledge, we’ll focus on refining your skills through conversation, text reading, and philosophical discussion.

Transcription services
$50 per hour
Do you have a Buddhist teaching from a lama that you would like to have transcribed? Let´s discuss the content of the work and figure out a package price for you. I am happy to help!
